About Lucas Gray
Trained in architecture, Lucas lived and worked around the world before starting a small architecture firm with two business partners in Portland, Oregon. After seven years running the firm, and four years working closely with CVG as an Investment Partner client, Lucas joined CVG to work with other firm owners and help them run more successful businesses. Lucas earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from McGill University and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon. He also attended the 2008 Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Masters Class in Australia.

Lucas has long been active in the American Institute of Architects through serving on his local chapter board, on the National Associates Committee, and currently on the Small Project Design Knowledge Community leadership team. Lucas also served as an adjunct professor at Portland State University, teaching architectural drawing, and as a guest design critic at the University of Oregon.

Along with Lucas' architecture design work, he is an artist – including drawing, installations, and photography – and writes about the built environment. Lucas is based in Seattle, Washington.
