Ms. Buck has more than 28 years of experience in construction and consulting. Her project experience spans a variety of areas and responsibilities including project management, contract negotiation and administration, estimating, cost control, subcontractor coordination, consulting, expediting, budget management, safety, design development, and scheduling. Ms. Buck’s project management and construction experience includes the following types of projects: power plants, offshore platforms, data facilities, university and high school facilities, low and mid rise office buildings, hospitals, space/missile support facilities, performing arts, chemical plants, and paper mills. Ms. Buck’s construction experience includes public, private, and government funded projects in domestic and international locations.
Since joining Veritas, Ms. Buck has consulted on a variety of construction matters including pipelines, water treatment plants, power plants, hospitals, rail, independent/assisted living facilities, stadiums, and airports. Her efforts have primarily involved schedule analysis, quantification of construction delays, acceleration, evaluation of disruption claims, construction cost analyses and review, mediation support, and analysis of claims regarding defective work.
Prior to joining Veritas, Ms. Buck held positions with Brown & Root, Incorporated in various locations throughout the United States and in Bahrain, with Linbeck Construction Company, and with Zachry Construction Company. More...
