In Michigan you must record the Lien within 90 days of the Last Day of Furnishing. That means that you have to record the Lien within 90 days of the date you
provided your last improvement to the property. So the day you signed the contract does not dictate the deadline for recording. The last day of furnishing
does.

Subcontractors who are not paid who have provided an improvement to property and filed a timely Notice of Furnishing can file a lien assuming all the
prerequisites to a lien are also met, like, licensing, not more than 90 days since last day of furnishing etc.
