About Justine Clark
Justine M. Clark is a partner of Barton LLP. Her practice primarily focuses on structured finance (including leasing and securitization), banking, aircraft financing, project finance, derivatives and international banking and trade finance, representing banks, investment advisors, leasing companies, and multinational corporations.

Justine has advised clients with respect to the structuring of cross-border leasing transactions involving aircraft, rolling stock, ships, marine containers, and fleet vehicles. Justine has also structured the securitization of a national chain of retail gas vendors, as well as marine container fleets. Justine has also represented foreign banks in connection with the establishment and maintenance of their commercial paper and medium-term note facilities. She has also advised private investors on bank regulatory issues affecting the acquisition of substantial interests in bank holding companies. Justine has appeared before the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Controller of the Currency in connection with the approval of bank acquisitions.

Justine advises banks and corporations with respect to derivatives. She is experienced in structuring investments to enable commercial hedging parties to be exempt from the clearing requirements imposed by the CFTC and has created standardized documentation for use by banks in connection with such investments.

Prior to joining Barton, Justine was partner and co-chair of CKR Law’s Finance Group. Prior to that, she led the lending practices at Hinckley Allen and Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP and was also a partner at Am Law 200 firm, Kelley Drye & Warren.
