The first thing you should do is speak with an attorney. It sounds like you have quite a mess with the insurance company, the client and the HOA. Assuming
you performed all the work in a good workmanlike manner, absent of defects or deficiencies, you may have a claim for the reasonable value of your work.
Since you have no written contract you are not entitled to attorney fees. There may be other issues if this was a home improvement. Good luck!
