Daryl Fansler

About Daryl Fansler
Mr. Fansler served as Chancellor of the Knox County Chancery Court, Part II, for the last 16 years. Prior to his election to the bench, he practiced law in Knoxville for 15 years as a trial lawyer and civil mediator and was one of the first mediators and arbitrators in Knox County certified by the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Chancellor Fansler received his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University in 1974 and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1982. He later attended the National Judicial College at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Chancellor Fansler currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Knoxville Area Command of The Salvation Army, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Museum of Appalachia and as a Director of the Davis Center for Child Development. He and his wife, Phyllis, live in Knoxville and have three children.
