L. Cordell McCarrey was previously the CEO of Nestor Financial Group, LLC. He has been a partner in the international law firm of Carlsmith Ball LLP where he was the Latin Practice Group Leader. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company and other of the financial subsidiaries of the Weyerhaeuser Company, a Fortune 75 Company. He is a graduate of the Brigham Young University School of Law and a member of the California State Bar Association since 1981. Mr. McCarrey has lectured extensively internationally on various topics including asset backed financing, international real estate financing, mortgage banking in Canada, the United Kingdom and many parts of Latin America, including Mexico, Brazil and Chile.
