About Allen Overcash
Allen L. Overcash is an ADR professional whose practice is the solution of disputes in the construction industry. His practice as a construction lawyer began over 50 years ago. Utilizing that experience, Allen now devotes his full professional time to the management of construction disputes primarily as a neutral arbitrator and mediator.

Beginning in 1959 as an attorney practicing construction law, Allen has represented numerous clients involved in construction projects. Past clients include general contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties, and design professionals. Allen’s clients were involved in a wide variety of projects including industrial plants, energy installations, transportation facilities, office buildings, institutional structures, and others. As his career has progressed, it has become more focused on large disputes with claims valued to $60 million. As an attorney he appeared in a variety of ADR proceedings, including arbitrations, mediations, and dispute review boards. He has no plans of retiring, and will be continuing his career as a construction ADR professional long into the future. Allen is currently an Adjunct Professor of Construction Law at the University of Nebraska College of Law.
