About Florida Notice of Nonpayment (Private Bond Claim) Form

This Notice of Nonpayment for private bond claim form can be used to make a claim on the bond itself. In Florida, when a Payment Bond is present on a private project, a claimant may make a claim on that bond with a Notice of Nonpayment. It must be served upon the prime contractor and bonding company within 90 days from last furnishing labor and/or materials to the project. Failure to serve and file this notice, may result in the loss of the ability to make a claim against the bond.
