Arizona Notice of Completion Form

This Arizona Notice of Completion form is generally recorded at the completion of work on a construction project. Once filed, a copy of the Notice of Completion must be sent to the owner, the original contractor and anyone who provided an Arizona 20-day preliminary notice on the project.

This document is typically filed by the property owner, the owner’s agent, or the GC to signify the completion of the project. The effect of a properly recorded Notice of Completion is to reduce the time in which claimants can record an AZ mechanics lien on a private construction project from 120 days after completion of the original contract, to just 60 days after the Notice of Completion was recorded.
