We have filed a lien against a company and are deciding how to proceed, but based on deadlines to enforce a bond claim i need the two questions answered.

We have a bond claim filed with the General Contractor of the project. The GC is not our customer, our customer sold to the GC. Our customer is not paying for the material sold.

We are a material supplier to a sub contractor who is not being paid for material. The Subcontroacto is working under a GC who is employed by the state. We did not supply preliminary notice to the GC. Will our bond claim stand?
