About South Dakota Notice of Project Commencement Form
This free South Dakota Notice of Project Commencement form is used in the state of South Dakota to formally designate the beginning of the project. A South Dakota Notice of Project Commencement is an optional form filed by the general contractor on private construction projects within 30 days of commencement of the work; a Location Notice must also be posted on the jobsite. Once filed, this will trigger notice requirements from subs and suppliers, which must be provided within 60 days of last furnishing labor and/or materials to the project.
