About Louisiana Notice of Contract Form
This free Louisiana Notice of Contract form is used in the state of Louisiana to formally designate the beginning of the project, which operates in the same fashion as a Notice of Commencement.
A Louisiana Notice of Contract should be filed by the general contractor on any project valued at over $10,000. Failure to do so is (a) fatal to the general contractor’s lien rights and (b) can affect the lien filing deadline for any subs and/or suppliers on the project.
