An Arkansas Notice of Intent is a critical step to secure your AR mechanics lien rights on private construction projects. This Arkansas lien notice form is required to be sent by all potential lien claimants at least 10 days before filing a mechanics lien claim. Plan ahead, as the deadline to file an AR lien claim is 120 days from the claimant’s last “substantial” work on the project. This notice must be sent to the owner by any means of delivery that provides third-party verification of delivery. Also, keep in mind that a Notice to Owner and Contractor may also be required to be served within 75 days of last providing labor or materials to the project.
