Total Instrument & Electrical Services Bankruptcy

Louisiana electrical contractor Total Instrument & Electrical Services, Inc. filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy relief on December 23, 2020, according to the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Contractors, material suppliers, and equipment lessors make up 55 of the company’s 97 reported creditors. 

Total Instrument & Electrical Services, headquartered in Houma, Louisiana, claims in their filing that they owe $3,003,422.99 in debt to 97 creditors. The company reports $2,296,691.01 in total assets. 

In the last two years, Total Instrument experienced an 87.6% decrease in gross revenue, according to the bankruptcy petition.

The second pending legal case involves the recovery of unpaid wages. The case is still pending with the 38th Judicial District Court for Cameron Parish, according to the bankruptcy filing.
