About Utah Notice of Completion Form
This Utah Notice of Completion form is generally recorded at the completion of work on a private construction project. Once filed, the Utah State Construction Registry will alert any claimants that filed a timely preliminary notice through the registry.
This document may be filed by either the owner, original contractor, lender, surety, or title company to signify the completion of the project. The effect of a properly recorded Notice of Completion is to reduce the time in which claimants can record a UT mechanics lien on a private construction project from 180 days from completion of the original contract, to just 90 days after the Notice of Completion is recorded.
Complete the form on the right to download your free Utah Notice of Completion form that can be filled out with a PDF editor or by hand after printing.
