Levelset employees Lori J Drake and Daniel Gray hand out goody bags to attendees of the 2022 Construction Credit Summit in Tampa

On September 22, 2022, the Levelset Payment Professionals Community held the final Construction Credit Summit of 2022  at TopGolf in Tampa, Florida.

This summit provided nearly 100 construction credit, accounting, and finance professionals with the chance to spend the day learning from industry experts, building relationships, and discovering new ways to “work smarter, not harder” by utilizing top vendors within collections, automation, financing, and more.

Plus, in the evening, attendees competed in the 2022 Construction Credit Summits’ Angry Birds Championship.

I had the pleasure of awarding the October 2022 Credit Manager of the Month in person! It is always a special treat to recognize someone who has been nominated by their peers, but being able to celebrate someone in person comes with its own rewards. October’s Credit Manager of the Month was Elizabeth Stafford, APM, with TAW, an IPS Company. Liz was celebrated for her desire to share her education as well as her experience, her ability to provide encouragement and support to those looking for mentorship, and her personality.

We were so excited to introduce our keynote speaker, Craig Webb with Webb Analytics who discussed economics, current market trends, and what a credit manager can do to excel at adapting to the changes.

Attendees meet construction industry authors

Attendees had two exciting opportunities attendees had were to meet with two expert speakers who are also published authors. Not only did they get to hear them speak, but they were also able to get signed copies of their books.

Check out Jason Lambert’s newly published book on Florida lien law, Florida Construction Law Guide for Contractors.

Check out the brand-new second edition of The Credit Overlord’s Guide to Credit & Collections by Thea Dudley, the “Credit Overlord.”

Networking and fun activities abound

Early on, attendees participated in breakout meetings and conversations with top vendors from around the globe, pausing only for lunch and coffee breaks.

Throughout the day attendees also enjoyed games and prizes, such as Bingo which was won by Kashia Wales with Waste Connections, Pull Tabs won by Dave Massey with Sequel Electrical, and Scratch-Offs, which had multiple winners, including Kyle French with Blue Water Industries, Vickie Brennan with Poolcorp, and Mark Selby with CR Aluminum.

Attendees were engaged, excited, and open to the opportunity to learn and connect with event partners: HighRadius, CreditSafe, Auditoria, DAL, Inc., BlueTape, MobilizationFunding, and weAudit. Their support, encouragement, and excitement make these events possible.
