We have a job site where there are 2 buildings and separate contracts were written to us for each. We finished work on the first contract and have yet to be 100% funded. Our last day worked on that contract work now is past the time frame to file a lien. However, we still have days remaining from our last day worked on the second building. Since it's the same job site, can we still file using the 2nd contracts last day worked?
OhioI was recently involved in a hit and run, driver hit me a left the scene and denying that he hit me. Can I put a lien on 2 of his residential properties. I was told I can but not sure never have been involved in something like this.

TexasWe're aware that the statutes are different for oil and gas projects in the state of Texas. We've recently started experiencing payment problems specifically on projects like this. We want to make sure that we're following the proper procedures for promoting visibility and protecting ourselves in the long run. What notice process would be best practice to do that?
TexasWe're an equipment lessor and we utilize GPS tracking on all of our equipment. We've started to notice on the tracking that our equipment is moving and being brought to other properties without prior permission. When sending notices on projects like this, should we only notice the contract that was signed? Do we have lien rights for the usage of the equipment on the additional properties?
TexasSand Creek Timber Frames LLC contracted with a General Contractor, Groundbreakers LLC, to provide fabricated trusses on 5 Cabins located at the Dallas Hunting & Fishing Club.
The lien was placed on the Dallas Hunting & Fishing Club land where these 5 cabins are located. When I asked my contact with Dallas Hunting & Fishing Club who owned the land these cabins are being built, her reply was: “The cabin owner holds a land lease for the property their cabin is being built on. Each cabin owner has an individual lease and an individual building contract. The exception is the Rental Cabin, which is owned by the club outright.” She insists that I need to contact the cabin owners directly because they had separate contractors with the General Contractor, Groundbreakers LLC. We also only were contracted with Groundbreakers LLC and do not have more than a name of the projects, however the cabins still appear to be built on Dallas Hunting & Fishing Land. The property addresses I have are Lot numbers(7, 9, 10, 11, 13) Dowdy Ferry Rd, Dallas, TX 75217.

Arizonafirst job there was problem with contract after idid half the work and company i sub from receieved 2500 deposit and gave me nothing for work me and helper did for 4 days.
second job contract sent unskilled painter to paint 28 new doors. customer was diapointed. he hired me to
fix the problem and after 8 days wor of me and helper didnt get paid.
third job contractor paid me a portion and still owe balance
forth job been over a month and contractor keeps saying he waiting on check from bank

I'm a door retailer located in Austin, TX. I sell my doors nationwide. I sold custom made doors to a customer in NJ. The customer disputed the credit card charges on Dec. 15 and refused to return the product. The order was shipped to the customer in Oct. 2018. What are my options and how should I go about it.

New JerseyI’ve got about $60000 in unpaid invoices that need to be sent or already have been sent as a subcontractor for different contracting companies in return I would receive %15 of the net profit from the readjusted insurance payout after fixing certain things on the original RCV and working something out with the insurance company it’s been 2 years since the work was completed and not a single dime has been paid back I’m wondering if I can still send the i voices then wait and send liens if needed ?
TexasI am a mobile home installer in Florida. We contract directly with the homeowner to install the home and hook up utilities. I supply and pay subs to complete the electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
I would like to know what happens in the event of non-payment and I have not sent an NTO. I would also like to know what I can do if the homeowner requires a lien waiver. I am unwilling to sign a lien waiver, it is sometimes my last hope to collect in the mobile home industry.
FloridaWe worked as the sub-sub for a subcontractor on a Texas project. We are a staffing company that provides labor for jobsites. Back in August, the subcontractor relocated our workers to another jobsite, but did not notify us. We continued to bill the hours to the initial jobsite for a few months hours, as we were unaware our workers were relocated.
We are approaching a lien deadline for the initial project as we have not been fully paid for the labor we supplied (the customer agreed to an installment plan but there is still a large amount outstanding due.) If we wanted to proceed with filing a lien for this work, on what property would it be filed? Where our workers started, or where they were re-directed, or both?
TexasI performed a large re-build of a house in Malibu. The owner said he would pay me when it was done and now he wants me to communicate with his lawyer and that he doesn't believe he owes me anything. We are talking 155k in fees he owes me.
CaliforniaWe are a material supplier. We did some shop-drawings, including estimating and engineering work related to our products for a Sub on a project in AZ and sent mock-up samples. The customer was advised if the project was canceled, they would be charged for these services. They then informed us they do not want our product, and state they have no money to pay the cancellation fee so were going to pass the invoice on to the GC and Architect to pay. We need to know if we have lien rights in those circumstances.
