So I am a service provider for a company called choice home warranty I performed about 12 service calls for them yeah now I spent up to 700 or more in parts the company owes me at least $1200 according to their prices in and labor cost they provide yet now they are pulling out charges and taking money from me from my overall Mountain Dew for things that are made up that they just saying

So how do I find out what classification for prevailing wage rates I would under for jobs? Is it in the contracts and that’s what I would fall under? Like for instance I believe my work has us as laborers under contract for the work but then pays us as sign hangers in cook and lake county because it is less. Before we were always paid laborer rates but now that there is sign hanger they choose to pay us that but these contracts have been made prior to sign hanger being a rate
IllinoisAs a Subcontractor to a General Contractor in California potentially working on a prevailing wage City project, how long should it take for the General Contractor to pay the Subcontractor? I was under the understanding, once the General is paid by the City, they have 10 days to pay the Subcontractor? I am getting a bit of push back on a job we are bidding wth the General stating they want 60 day terms and we dont get paid until they get paid. Any help or reference you can provide would be appreciated.

CaliforniaOk I know I’m not un-fairly paid, I make a dam good living. The contractor I work for is sub onto jobs and he 1099 me as a sub to get larger projects done. we just had a wage rate job in Memphis pop, but he can’t figure if he as a sub contractor can sub me onto the job since I’m not his employee. I am not paid hourly and truly don’t want to be since I make way more doing work by the piece. How do I find this answer?

WashingtonHow do I go about charging a customer for a project like building a deck or hanging a screen door? Let's say materials for a deck cost $1200, then I usually charge $1200 for labor, making the estimate $2400. Am I over charging that way or leaving money on the table? or how much should I be making per hour as a residential carpenter with 20 years experience. Your help is greatly appreciated. I feel as though Iam being taken advantage of by working for $15/hr as an skilled carpenter but I have nothing to reference it by.

OhioMy hours of prevailing wage seem to be the same every week each job is calculated picture before picture after and are regular hourly wage inbetween the jobs which are 10 to 15 min travel in between but it's a few of us on the crew meanwhile are Forman keeps count of hours how do I go about getting to the bottom of this thanku
