AmeriPro Roofing completed a roof replacement on 08/24/22. The customer has not paid their balance of $29,588.32. I would like to place a lien on the the property.

a Couple of months ago I won property at an auction. From now on I wanted to sell it because I found good occasion and customers.
Unfortunately while we go through the selling process the lawyer figures out that there is a "large outstanding bond lien for Sun N Lakes".
I am surprised because I did not know about it at all when I bought it.
I don't even know where to look for reaching this information.
Please let me know if there is any option to take the lien off from my Property and how can I do it?

FloridaI am a general contractor that has completed work ( installed new ducting ) and the customer has refused to pay. I sent a certified letter stating that the account will be sent to collections, upon receipt customer called and threatened to complain on all formats of ratings as well as the BBB if we send to collections. Sent it to collections and customer offered very minimal payment with requirements of lien waivers for his property as well as all the places he contracted our services for which exceeded $12,000. Customer offered $2000. Collections advised us to sue our former customer. I have truck tracking and signatures approving the work as well. The job was completed 08/2021 but we have been in contact with this customer throughout the past year inquiring about payment. What are my legal options?

OregonContractor sent a prelien letter after contruction started and a paid 24k of a 60k job. I sent the letter back saying that the prelien letter was incorrect total because I had already paid 24k of 60k. I also request them sign off on 24k progress payment. That was 2 months ago and within the 10days the lien company gave me for inaccurate information.

CaliforniaWe completed work on a customer's home and sent her an invoice on April 20, 2022. She is a real estate agent. She paid part of the invoice. There is a balance of 8900. TexasHello, I started a job and completed it on March 17 and sent the invoice on the 18th. Was taking a long time getting paid and someone told me about a mechanics lien so I found you guys and started the process. The preliminary notice was sent on April 7th which is 21 days after completion but 20 days from sending the invoice. Notice of intent to lien was sent on May 12th and with all this sent, I am still being ignored by the general contractor. Am I out of luck with filing a lien since I live in Arizona and he knows it which is why he’s ignoring me? I really don’t want to deal with going to small claims court for $1100 and would rather lien the property so they put pressure on him to pay me. Is small claims court my only option now or can I still go forward with placing a lien? Thank you
ArizonaI'm a subcontractor who was working on a commercial development that had a stop-work order that went into effect before I was actually on the property. I completed design work, some labor (in warehouse), and ordered parts for the job (sprinkler heads that were in a shortage at the time and were ordered in bulk to avoid possible future work delays). These materials were not ever delivered to the job site, but are currently in my warehouse. I have a couple of questions about my lien rights:
1) What should I use as first furnishing date? I have a contract date of 2/10/22, a materials delivery (to me) of 3/23/22, and no date for me or materials being on the site, although I suppose it might be 5/6/22 (listing the job as started and ended on the same day)?
2) I may be able to get the cost of the materials (minus shipping and restocking) back from my supplier. If so, how does this affect a lien? Can I lien for the full amount and then amend the lien if I recoup some costs?
3) If I delay my lien while resolving these questions (I have three months left to file), will it put me later in the line to get paid? I've heard that order of filing impacts order of pay in bankruptcies and want to know if it applies to other situations as well.

MichiganIm looking to foreclose a mechanics lien. I had levelset do the mechanics lien in Chicago , ILL. On the lien documents I noticed that the bank information was not placed on the lien. Will it effect my lien if i add the banking information..
