We're a contractor that did work on a residential home that was to be financed, the client continually delayed the job until past the expiration on their finance loan completion time and now their financing is cancelled we have fully funded their job with the intention of being reimbursed. The client the began claiming false statements putting the blame on us even though our contractual work is completed and the delays were no fault of ours and can be proven. We filed a lien on the property already but would like to know what we should do hereafter? Upon researching these people they have a long history of similar cases open against them totaling over 3 million dollars that has been ongoing since 2016 . I understand you offer legal services as well can someone call me with pricing please?
CaliforniaI am writing because the service contract was broken by the other party as the property manager. They called the Sheriff's department to claim that the equipment I had there was being stolen and this was over a misunderstanding and the property manager attempting to change the services provided. The service contract states clearly that the contract cannot be broken without a 10 days' notice.
The term of this Agreement (the "Term") will begin on the date of this Agreement and will remain in full
force and effect until the completion of the Services, subject to earlier termination as provided in this
Agreement. The Term may be extended with the written consent of the Parties.

In the event that either Party wishes to terminate this Agreement prior to the completion of the Services,
that Party will be required to provide 10 days' written notice to the other Party.
This is the part if the contract that I am countersuing for breach of contract. is there something else that I should be doing? I have already filed a mechanics lien with the county where the property is recorded.
ColoradoWe have filed a lien on 2/26/21 and now the customer saying that they will not pay us until 90 days after this date which will be outside of our timeline to perfect our lien. We would like to send notices as a sort of "count down" so that we have done our due diligence in providing documentation to the customer that they need to pay us before 90 days.

Asking price is $32,000.00 and he was supposed to have paid $8,000.00 for at least one acre but only paid total $3,125.00 now threating to put a lien on this property. Can he do this in Lexington, NC 27292. Both checks were written in my sons name and his name IS NOT ON MY DEED.
North CarolinaI have an problem with a munical project in Texas. The general contractor has big financial problems. We have filed with the bond company but our claim was rejected because it was filed late. We have only provided approximately 50% of the material required. The end customer wants us to provide the remaining materials. Somehow the contractor is still involved with the project and is assisting the city with the transition. I need advise on next steps, which I expect requires filing suit.

FloridaI am a GC. Builder refused to pay me so I can pay my sub. Builder refused to pay because someone damaged a fireplace flute but she could of used my liability insurance to fix? Both sub and I have filed mechanics lien on property. Builder and sub exchanged messages and builder kept telling sub to wait and then refused payment. I am at loss on what to do. Sub did not install in some right areas and builder backcharged for error but sub still filed a mechanics lien in full amount instead of what builder initially claimed. There is no contract. I received a letter from an attorney telling me to pay sub. Do I need a lawyer?
OklahomaI am a homeowner that was misled by an acoustical consulting contractor. They came to assess the extent of the impact noise and vibration in my home.. and recommended for us to install rubber underlayment and floating floors on the top floor to combat both issues. They promised 70% reduction in noise but it was not explicitly written in the contract. Halfway through the project, I had expressed concerns since all the rubber underlayment was installed and we could still hear the impact noise and the vibrations had gotten worse. We were told to see the project all the way through and allow them to finish installing the laminate flooring to see if it would work. We did... and now the contractor is saying that our house has structural issues and that he is not taking any responsibility for the lack of noise improvement and the vibration issues that have exacerbated. He is now suggesting that we strengthen the joists and promises that we will see a 70% reduction in noise after doing so. I can no longer trust the word of this contractor and don't want to pay to have more work done that may cause even more issues. The estimate we signed was for 13k and we only paid 50% of it.

LouisianaI have had been in contact with the DBPR and have.an investigation by three DBPR investigators that found individuals that committed Notary fraud with my signature they duplicated it and obtained hundreds of electrical permits for solar array and had other businesses use my electrical licence and crudentials by forging my name and with notary fraud and I am seeking leagal representation 5o file suits.
FloridaHired a recruiting company who contract states they will replace a hired candidate they’ve provided to us within 90 days of hire if they do not work out. Services are paid for in full upon hire. Notified recruiting company immediately once candidate quit on 1/25/21 and have been given the run around and rude emails ever since. Candidate has not been replaced and company has breached contract. Requesting Amount paid to recruiting company returned. Do you offer help regarding this kind of dealing?
GeorgiaIm the co owner of a general contractor construction company, our firm completed an interior home improvement job in city of diamond bar, CA to a couple clients on or about 12/14/2020 to 1/29/2021 . The owners failure to pay $ 20k included materiel with the proof of receipts to us. I tried to ask them to pay via email, text messages etc in properly languages, the owner did runarounds with us, also bullying and threaten my firm, and asked my firm to continue to do some cosmetic repairs to their premise. I asked the owners to pay off arrearages first, then I would to help to do extra touch up or cosmetic repairs. But the owners refused to and not reply to my inquires any more since on or about 2/19. on 3/5 , I received an attorney letter form this group of owners, they asked my company to credit them $10k.... In this case, should I file a mechanic lien or work with an attorney to fight for my justices and right ? Thank you so much. If so, I will!

ColoradoHello I paid a down payment of $7000 to a contractor to repair the house I am purchasing. I paid in cash because the individual was a friend. I never thought he would run with the money and he has done nothing. I live in Hamilton county Ohio. Also I found out later he is unlicensed. Please help me.
