I am Florida Certified GC. I am going to FT Myers Area to market selling Roofs. I am looking for the wording required in the contracts and marketing materials. also what is not allowed. I do not want to get into any trouble. If anyone has any templates that can share, I would appreciate it.

In my contract's General Conditions, I cannot file Lien. If I file would it be a breach of contract???

TexasWe have an aging retainage that was submitted through a Pay App in the amount of nearly $25,000 which is over 1,000 days old with Balfour Beatty in Cleburne in Johnson County, and we are ready to complete an installation for another project for Balfour Beatty in Denton just North of Dallas for approximately $80,000. We have sent Balfour Beatty notice that they are on credit hold until we get the $25,000 and they send us a copy of the check for the $80,000 to be given to our project manager at the time and immediately as we complete the project. TexasMy parents signed a License agreement with a developer that does not protect them (financially) or their property (structurally). The agreement was signed in 2016 and the developer never completed the job. Washington DCI start this job and they make me sign a contract wich had not dead line to finish the job , the last day their supervisor came and told me they cannot wait for me to finish so they will take over t o complete the last details and they will deduct from my last payment wherever they spend on labor. I wait more than a week and I had not answer from the supervisor , so the last message I sent telling him that I will talk to his boss he answer that there's not balance for me because they owe me $3985 and they spent more than $5000 to fix those details . ConnecticutI signed a contract with a Roofing Co. and my insurance awarded the repair to another Contractor. I learned there is an Atty representing the Roofing company I signed with. I even tried to convince my insurance company to give the work to the Roofing Co. I signed contract with. But Insurance said they have a set of vendors they use to make repairs. I know for a fact that such Atty was notified by my insurance and is copied on all the communications sent to me by my insurance. Can I be sued by the roofing co, if I go with the approved contractor to my claim? On a second thought, the Atty has not contacted me but only a lady from the Roofing co., stating they are still working with my insurance even after I told her, the claim was awarded to another Contractor. Desperately need help!!
FloridaContract says 10' ceilings, my tape measures 9'6" They poured 4" of foundation which totals 9'10" still not built to spec. Do I have the ability to ask for my money back because they breached what we agreed upon?
MichiganI had French doors and side windows installed on my house. The doors are too short. I had multiple conversations of what was to be done and what was installed is not what we talked about. There are measurements in the contract. For example I had 80" doors. I was replacing those doors. The contractor pit 79.5 door height in the contract. The doors installed are 79.5" with the framing, not the size of the door so now the doors are 76" - they are too short. Anything I can do here. I did tell him when installing to stop these are too short and he pleaded with me to let him get them in and see if it works. I did and they don't. Any remedy here?
