MichiganIf a mechanics lien was filed against a commercial tenant and property owner can the commercial tenant purchase a surety bond or is it the property owner’s responsibility. Also if the commercial tenant purchases a bond and loses the case on court is the tenant responsible for the entire amount in full.

FloridaAttorney's Lien in GA: On February 12, 2020, I found out there was an Attorney's Lien on my property. He did a consultation with me regarding an organization I belong to on December 13, 2018. There was no charge for the consultation. I asked him before he did work I must get my his fee and board approval before we can be charged for any service. January 13, 2019, he sent a bill for $2170.00 for work he allegedly performed. I repeatedly wrote him back and told him we asked you not to do any work until we can Board Approval. This lien was put on the property in June of 2019. I never was given any notice of his intent to put it on the property, to my knowledge he didn't get a judgment against me. Is this legal?

A) If we bond out of the exaggerated amount, can we sue builder for difference? File a bond against the business or a lien on his personal property? B) If we bond out of the exaggerated amount, how can we recover the 17k+ extra amount?
C) If we bond out (because our mortgage must be finalized), is this accepting the amount?
D) Can we demand the court drop the exaggerated lien? (I cannot get an attorney to call me back)

NevadaI filed a lien for non-payment against our contractor. His attorney ($25/hr) sent us a letter saying the lien was discharged by a lien removal bond. Is this possible and our rights removed?

January 15th I saw a pop-up on my online mortgage account that another lien was filed. After one has been filed and they did nothing in the 90 days, can they file another one?
