I’m a subcontractor working on project for a GC who is actually working on a large project for one of my clients. We just do not do all of the work on a project of this size. The client is aware that I haven’t been paid. I would like to know what I can do next to receive full payment. Thank you.

ArkansasBUILDER SENDS ME AN ADDENDUM TRYING TO CHANGE THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT FROM A SET PRICE TO COST PLUS 7.5 %, HAS STOPPED WORK BECAUSE I HAVE REFUSED TO SIGN.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS COSTS ARE, HE CAN PUT ANY PRICE ON THAT ADDENDUM.
THE CONTRACT STATES 7 MONTHS FOR COMPLETION, THAT TIME PERIOD WILL BE UP IN 2 WEEKS, HE HASN'T EVEN POURED THE SLAB.
WHAT DO I DO?
FloridaI am a subcontractor on a project that was supposed to take 4 months. It has been 8, goping on 9 months. During this time, materials have greatly increased in price. When I speak to the General Contractor, he tells me there will be no compensation. The main reason for my hold ups is because the owner never submitted the bioswell plan to SMUD for SMUD to include in the SMUD Comittment drawings. The bioswell had already been installed and the owner did not want to pay to remove it to install the SMUD conduits. So this portion of the project sat for 3-4 months. Once they dug the bioswell out to install the SMUD conduits, the conduit was $10,000 more than the original bid price.
CaliforniaI just recently had my contract terminated without notice and without any chance to address any of the issues. I was not paid for any of the work I had performed over a months period. Their also slandering me on their website

As a residential home Construction Customer, with an extended Construction Loan, my Bank is in New Mexico, and my new home is in Georgia. The Bank states an Attorney can help me comply with Georgia's process of replacing the ex-Contractor on this project. What are all the steps required to replace him? Is an Attorney required to replace him?

FloridaI am the GC working directly for the owner , dealing with the subs directly, however I do not right the checks nor pick which bid gets what job. I find multiple subs to bid and owner decide and I manage the project etc.
Situation is , company owner chose for plumbing which guarantee the work for a year is not responding after being paid and finding that none of the pvc was sealed and the old cast iron that was paid to be removed, was just barried. So they made everything seem to work but after use several months, issues arise due to nothing being sealed.
I hired another plumber I personally knew to investigate and found some other major issues. Am I responsible for that fee or is the owner? And am I able to get that money and time from client or owner?
TexasRoofing contractor in Florida has a clause in their Agreement, regarding the right of the non breaching party to terminate the agreement with 2 days notice and the client to pay the contractor for completed work including labor and purchased materials prior to the termination. but the clause also includes the following language ..."in addition to the contractors overhead and profit on the portion of work uncompleted as of the cancellation date." Is this last sentence usual language which should be acceptable to the client. Why would the client have to pay anything on uncompleted work when the contractor is in breach?

KentuckyMr. wise our customer purchased a showroom model fire table on June he was aware of the condition of it it had a cracks, scratches on the side we shipped a replacement from the manufacture we have emails back and forth with him. he end up opening a charge back after a month on July then the next month he lost the dispute and it was credited back to us, then he opened the chargeback again on September and the charge back gave him the money back Ams was lift with no payment and he kept the fire table. after i send him the notice of intent lien he hired a lawyer his lawyer saying i dont have the right to file the lien the customer lives in OH . and we are in California
