I am a homeowner who hired a landscaping company. I aid them landscaping company $3100 of a $6200 estimate. He did part of the job and did not finish. He did not pay the Rock supplier. Now the rock supplier, who I did not hire, is asking me for payment of the rock. I had to hire another company to finish the job.
WisconsinI already filed a Notice of Intent to Lien and a Lien however I am wondering if a Notice of Rights to Lien is required. I will need to let you all know so the Lien can get filed. How much is the Notice of Rights to Lien and am I required to complete that for Wisconsin?

I sent remittance and payment instruments they claim were returned but retained and didn't notify me for over a year. Now they are coming at me to collect again. Is there a UCC statute of limitations to collect on a payment instrument that was retained by a creditor?

The call for cancelation came 4 days before we were to start. I now have to look for work for my crew and I am out the potenttial profit. What should I do. I am in Wisconsin if that matters.
WisconsinI currently have a lien filed through Levelset. I have two years to enforce the lien. However, the owner just listed his house. Lien filed date is 1/22/2022. I would like to know if I need to have the lien enforced and a judgement to be paid out of the sale? Or will the filed lien postpone any sale and will the filed lien need to be satisfied to proceed?
