I'm a cleaning vendor operating in Snowshoe WV. I have an outstanding balance do on a property that I currently clean. I have just recently found out the property has been sold and is closing on the 29th of this month. I was told this by the rental management company and not the owner. This gentleman has both a past and current amount due. He has said he will pay the invoice due immediately, however, he refuses to pay.
Can I file a mechanics lien against the property while he still owns it? And if yes, what happens to his closing?

West VirginiaI had a mechanics lien filed against one of my investment properties in Morgantown WV. The Monogalia Co date stamp on the lien filing was 7/2/20. I checked with the Mon office of the clerk and no suit has been filed for collections. We are now a month and a half past the 6 month code deadline for claimant action and I want to know how I have the lien removed from my property.

West VirginiaI am a small company 3 employees, we built a house for a customer and it took us about 2 years do to unforeseen company problems. But now that we are finished we sent the final invoices to the customer and yes it is over budget mostly due to the customer selections. He will not respond to any attempts we have made to collect your money or even talk to us.This is a 2nd home for him so I don’t know when he is there and when he is not.
