I HAVE FILED A LIEN FOR A JOB NAMED " OCCIDENT" AND ITS UNDER LEGAL ACTION. SINCE OUR NAME IS FILED INCORRECTLY ON THE LIEN, I CAN POTENTIALLY LOSE THIS CASE.

New YorkWe are a General Contractor to our Client- (Cookies United 107666 & 107433) They have paid us in full for all Invoices (Material, Install and Freight) but have shorted us Sales Tax on all of these Invoices totaling $36,770.48 outstanding. Are we allowed to/have any right to file a lien against them for Sales Tax unpaid?

The contractor was doing constructing without permits and leaving trash and debris all over the place, creating an eyesore, safety issues, parking difficulty etc. My dad reported the construction without permits and the police and other authorities shut the site down. The next day my dad got a one page typed notice of mechanics lien from this contractor claiming tortuous interference causing damages of 300k. I doubt it's real, it sounds like BS to me and paper terrorism (found that term online). I would think this prices to file a mechanics lien on my dad's house is more difficult than some stranger putting a note in his mailbox over being pissed my dad had him shut down for building without permits.

New YorkThe company I work for paved the lot of the USPS in Victor, NY. We have not been told what the pay rate is. How can we find out for certain our individual pay rates? We're getting clues that someone may try to short change us.
New YorkWe did work for a management company on a single family home in their network that refused to pay because of an admitted internal error of approval on their part. The job was completed, the management company was notified but no payment. The original amount owed was $17,000.01 of which they offered $6,000 of which prior to the lien being recorded we refused. At this juncture the lien seems to be expired. Do we have an option to renew or extend the lien? How do we go about enforcing the lien?

A garageman lien was place on my vehicle AFTER a lawsuit was filed against the mechanic for a bad repair job. Basically I took my vehicle for electrical repair and 1 hour after coming out of the shop it caught fire. The mechanic towed the vehicle and never fixed it. I proceeded to file a lawsuits and now he has placed a garageman lien agains me. Way can I do about it? Please help, this isn’t fair.

New YorkMy NYS lien is faulty. Thus, we don't want to file a foreclosure action and want to go right to SC to file a contract claim. Can I file a Prompt Payment Claim in the same pleading? K price was 123K, plus 20K in C.O.s. I have lots of additions that were done gratis at the time, in reliance that the K would be honored. They are worth way over 7K that would make up the 150.
