I recorded a notice of lien today 8/23/22. I know I need to serve a copy of the notice of lien to the owner within 30 days. Do I have 60 days to perfect the lien or 6 months. I'm not sure that I'm reading NRS 108 correctly.
NevadaHi, I'm trying to figure out what to list as when hired directly by the property owner instead of by a GC.
Previously on Levelset, we use to list as the General Contractor and be able to send the Notice of Right to lien. I was on yesterday and put in that we are the General Contractor, the only document available to send was NRS 108.246 Notice. Is this required in this particular situation or should I list as a subcontractor and send the Notice of Right to Lien.

NevadaFinal work and payment for pool and backyard construction. The project has taken over a year and a half, due to poor contractor follow through, and as the home owner I do not trust the contractor to complete the final required tasks. The contractor has requested final payment prior to completing the final tasks. I indicated that an escrow account for the final $10,000 be established with specific guidelines for project start time frame, project completion requirements, and completion time frame establishment, so that the contractor has assurance of payment and I have assurance of project completion.
