A city recorded a mechanic's lien put on my property by a contractor I had a dispute with. The claim of lien was prepared over 7 months after the work was done/material delivered (missed time window), I didn't get any notification (which supposed to by 'by mail' I've never received), and the form was received by the city a day after it was written (instead of 10 days). Considering all of above, I believe this claim of lien should be rejected by the city (but it was not). How can I dispute that? Thank you, Jack
