According to Governor Evers' stay home order, essential businesses can continue to operate during this coronavirus outbreak. As discussed in that order, and as further clarified on the Wisconsin Essential Business Declaration site, businesses and individuals whose work is necessary to support critical infrastructure and utilities - like a power company - are considered essential. Obviously, things can change rapidly - so be on the lookout for announcements from your local and state governments on the topic. But, note that those who are needed to support utilities would likely be among the last to have their work be restricted. Since this is relatively close to public works, this tracker may help you stay on top of where work can continue: Can I do Construction Work In my State?   Though, again, critical utility work would be slower to be shutdown than construction.
