Will what i am currently employed as benefit me obtaining my general contractors license

FloridaLicenses

I am currently working for a hotel as an engineer and studying for my associates in science, i have completed the certification course for HVAC but I’m still completing more classes for HVAC to get my associates, My question is if me working at the hotel as an engineer will count towards me obtaining my general contractors license

Probably not. Here's a link to a summary of a licensing decision where an engineering inspector's experience was not sufficient to qualify him for a GC license. https://hammerngavel.com/blog/individuals-project-inspection-and-supervision-tasks-not-sufficient-experience-for-contractor-license

You should see if your circumstances are similar to his.
