A lien was placed on one of my projects and the subcontractor submitted the lien cancellation but we still have not received a lien satisfaction. I am looking for the status.

In New York, the County Clerk maintains the lien docket. You would need to review the lien docket for the project address to find out if a lien has been marked satisfied. Some counties have the records available electronically while many do not. For those that do not, you would need to physically go to the County Clerk's office to determine if the mechanic's lien has been satisfied.
