I'm a subcontractor and submitted a payment request 2 months ago and still no payment. My portion of the work is mostly complete. My emails go unanswered but instead I get texts from the GC that my check is coming 'next week'. I feel like they are trying to run out the clock to avoid paying me. I could use some guidance.
