When filing a pre-lien on an Apartment complex, do all buildings need to listed to be protected?

Nevada

We are a Painting and Drywall subcontractor working on a large apartment complex (49 buildings) one owner. The owner has hired someone else to complete our work moving forward, but will not meet with us to discuss, nor have we received notice to stop work. After researching our records, we never filed a pre-lien. Can we still file and do I need to list all buildings?

You can still file, but whether or not you will be able to enforce the lien is questionable. If you can show that you had a trailer on site or something that would have shown the world that you were onsite, it may be possible to get past this failure. If you were employed directly with the owner, you do not need to give the owner a pre-lien notice. I would suggest you sit down with a construction attorney and discuss your options as lien right have strict time limitations.
