Does the 90 days to file a lien start after the Punch list items are completed?

If you are a subcontractor, you have 30 days from recordation of a Notice of Completion (NOC) to record a lien, or 90 days after completion of the entire project (not justyour scope of work, but the entire work of improvement) if no NOC is recorded. If you area GC, you have 60 days from recordation of a NOC to record a lien, or 90 days after completion of the entire project if no NOC isrecorded. Sub or GC, you must file suit within 90 days of recording the lien. If you think you are getting close, you should reach out to a construction lawyer. Good luck.
