what type of lien do i need to file? can i even file a lien?

Hello i am a sub contractor who completed my task of work for the contractor i was working under. the contractor got fired from the job and i have not been paid.

If you have properly served the preliminary notice, then you can file a mechanics lien unless a public works project. Call Levelset.

Your name/business name;
GC’s name;
Owner’s name and jobsite address;
Copy of written contract;
How much you’re owed.
