What rights do I have to get paid for doing work for a property owner, who now refuses to pay. It is labor/material

I did some work for a residential property owner. The total amount of material and labor is $480.00. Which she now refuses to pay. I have all text messages authorizing me to do the work that I did. What rights do I have to get paid?

For amounts owed under $100 you would sue in small claims court. The text messages should be enough to prove the existence of a contract. You cannot be represented by a lawyer in small claims court. Both parties have to represent themselves
