We did a job for a construction company and they are stringing us along with excuses in stead of paying us

If you already completed the job, then any pre-lien notices presumably expired.  That doesn't mean you don't have rights, but you should engage a construction attorney to review the contract and understand the timeline of when you were hired, the type of project, the work performed, and amounts owed, to best advise you moving forward.

Just because the work is complete doesn’t mean you are out of luck. The key pre lien deadline in Florida is that an NTO must be served within 45 days of starting the work. If you are still within that timeline you can serve the NTO even if you are complete with the job.
