Im a handyman in the state of n.m im experienced basic construction. Including remodels,and renovations , painting , plastering , concrete jobs etc. If im not familiar with a particular skill i will assist the property owner in finding someone or tell them to do so on there own if preferred. I recently did renovations for a family that is in the process of reopening a gas station convenient store with a cafe. Unfortunately i agreed to do so under a verbal contract at $20 an hour. I was also offered a $400.00 stipend if i could assist and find someone familiar with well work. Which i did. When the job was 99% done. Payment owed for my services have been denied. Im in new mexico. Am i capable of pursuing a waiver or lein on this particular property owner ?
