What is the best lien to use for both properties?

TexasMechanics Lien

I did work on 2 seperate houses and it was 2 seperate homeowners. They both refused to pay me what was due in the end. 1 homeowner lied to me and asked me to return materials so that they can hire another contractor and I would get paid a certain amount upon delivering materials. Once I get there they try to lowball me etc etc. 2nd homeowner was indecisive and wouldn’t listen to my recommendations and in the process of her stubbornness things got damaged during transport and I warned her about that. In the end she wanted me to redo everything for free and didn’t want to pay me.

Hello,

Hopefully you are not outside of your lien deadlines. The answer to your questions is the Mechanic's and Materialman's lien under Chapter 53 of the Texas Property Code.

The Texas Property Code has some stringent requirements so you want to make sure those are all being followed. Contact an attorney or Levelset to make sure all the I's are dotted and T's are crossed for your affidavit claiming lien.
