After The Lien Is Paid & A Release Is Signed By The Person Who Filed The Lien Do I As The Property Owner Need To Notify The State Of Florida Or My Town Officials To Make Sure There Has Been No "Lien" Attached To My Property?

Best practice would be to have the contractor sign a a Satisfaction of Lien and for you to have that recorded so it is obvious to anyone conducting a title search that your property is no longer encumbered. Hope that helps!
