I have a lien filed in CA, and an attorney sent me a letter that he would file a Lambert Action to remove my lien. What is this, and can my lien actually be removed by someone else?

Lambert is a case where the court removed a lien because it was not for improvements made to the property, but was for delay damages which cannot be the subject of a lien. Similarly, you can't lien for work not yet performed.
