what do we put for "Services Provided Under A Contract For An Agreed Sum?"

PennsylvaniaMechanics Lien

What do we put for "Services Provided Under A Contract For An Agreed Sum?" when there is no contract through us (subcontractor) and the Contractor who hired us, but more of a verbal agreement. The price was not estimated in the beginning, as the invoice was created at the end including all that was spent. What should we do?

On a Pennsylvania mechanics lien form, the section you are referring to requires the claimant to input whether or not they provided services under an agreed-upon sum (lump sum) or not. This is a statutory requirement under 49 P.S. §1503. If not, and the services provided were for an hourly rate or a cost-plus basis, then the claimant should attach a statement detailing the labor and materials provided along with the prices charged for each.
