What do I need to do to get CBC license being a Certified Plumbing Contractor

I am a Florida State Licensed Plumbing contractor for 4 years now. Been in trade for over 25 years. I’m looking to get my Certified Building Contractors license. What requirements and tests will I need to have? I’ve heard since passing Business and a Finance portions already that the mechanical portion is all needed as far as testing. As much info given would be appreciated. Thank you

I'll be the first to admit that I'm no expert on the ins and outs of obtaining licensure as a Certified Building Contractor in Florida. However, it looks like this article from Jimmerson Birr goes into great detail on the subject. And, services like Licenses, etc. can be helpful in obtaining licensure.

Check out http://www.myfloridalicense.com/DBPR/construction-industry/ This has a list of the license available and the requirements for new licenses and qualifying a second company.
