What contract is legit for the lien process?

ColoradoMechanics Lien

I have a contract(over $500 limit for state of colorado) with tenant's authorized agent. Since the tenant didn't sign the contract, could the contract still valid for mechanical lien?

Colorado lien claimants can generally file a valid mechanics lien when work was performed pursuant to a tenant improvement. There are two categories of Colorado mechanics liens, a Section 101 mechanics lien for when the work is performed under a contract with the owner, and a Section 105 mechanics lien for when the work is contracted for by a party like a tenant. A property owner can avoid a Section 105 lien by serving and/or posting a notice on non-responsibility. Whether a contract is sufficient when signed by a party's agent, the contract is generally valid when the agent had the authority (whether actual or apparent) to execute the contract. Contracts and agreements are signed all the time by agents and are effective and enforceable.
