AT&T hired CableTex to drill a cable under our property & damaged our plumbing. The cost was $3,488 & CableTex agreed to pay by April 27, 2021. Now they say it will be two more weeks. What can I do? You should consider preparing a letter to mail by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the contractor and AT&T to set out the facts and to demand the relief that you want. Attach to the letter the invoice, and photographs of the repair work (or the freshly dug up areas where the repair work occurred). Make sure that your letter is professional and business like as it may be evidence later.
If the contractor or AT&T does not respond or respond satisfactorily, you should consider filing suit in small claims court, using the letter as evidence.
