We received two liens from one contractor in Az

We hold the property as an LLC and yet we received two prelien, one to the LLC the home is held in and then to my husband and myself in our names. Do I have to return both? We do not want to be individually responsible hence the LLC. Please advise! Thank you ! Diane winter

Practically speaking, there is nothing you currently need to do (or return). Preliminary notices are sent by contractors to secure their right to file a lien if payment isn't made on the project. As far as receiving two, there is no need for concern. This is likely a mistake on the contractor's part, or a CYA move to ensure that the preliminary notice is received. At the end of the day, a mechanics lien will only attach to the property; meaning owners or companies cannot be held liable for a lien claim. Here are some other resources you may find helpful:
