Should general contractors have clients sign a waiver of liability re: COVID-19

MontanaCoronavirus

Small contractor with employees... should we have a waiver of liability signed (both by clients and employees) prior to working in homes with clients present. We carry liability and work comp insurance.

It's probably good business practice to have employees and customers sign a waiver of liability regarding COVID-19. Certainly, though - that won't relieve you from having to take the necessary measures to continue work. Any and all federal, state, and local guidelines must be followed in order to safely continue work. And, if those guidelines aren't followed, I'm not sure a waiver will help all that much.
