Matt replied to me today re our customer filing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy the day before Levelset RECORDED the lien against her property. Matt from Levelset stated "...... that a mechanic's lien can be perfected even after the automatic stay, pursuant to the exception to the automatic stay by subsection 362(b) of the Bankruptcy Code". but when I look up this section, Title 11, 362(b) it states: (B) of the collection of a domestic support obligation from property that is not property of the estate; This has nothing to do re a lien. Please provide me what 362(b)states, that Matt referred to in his reply to my earlier question, today. Thank you so much.
