Contractor has filed lien on my property. I had a lawyer speak to his lawyer, cost me a small fortune, but the lien was removed by the contractor. He then put the lien back on my property using a different lawyer. He never notified me, or made any attempt to collect, but has renewed the lien for the past 4yrs.
How long ago was the new lien placed? It sounds like there is a pretty high liklihood that the lien should have been enforced by now otherwise, it is no longer valid.
